In June of 2019, the City of Norfolk wanted visitors to experience its vibrant downtown from sunup to well after sundown during an exciting weekend filled with tall ships, live entertainment, theatre, festivals, tours, dining and more. We created a campaign to unify all the city’s events under one brand, EXP NFK: Epic Weekend. Through eye-catching marketing materials, a targeted social media campaign, geo-fencing and radio spots, we created a buzz letting visitors know that the only place to be in June is along the downtown Norfolk waterfront.
