The City of Norfolk owns seven (actually eight but who’s counting) entertainment venues that were poorly branded with a logo that had reproduction issues and so difficult to integrate into marketing materials it wasn’t being used. After a comprehensive brand workshop with all stakeholders and the agency’s team, we got to work. Over a 90 day period we developed over 100 brand identity concepts. Working with the client we whittled it down to eight, then three before presented the top three to the stakeholders before deciding on the final logo. Today, it’s being used at the venues and all entertainment marketing materials. This short video captures the process we went through.
